Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy is a kind of alloy consisting of tungsten matrix and a small amount of nickel-ferro and other alloying elements.
- Specific weight :~18.8g/cm3 high density
- High strength: tensile strength of 700-1000MPa;
- Strong ray shielding ability: Under the same thickness condition, the ray shielding ability of tungsten alloy is 1.7 times that of lead. When the ray is stronger, the difference between the two ray shielding ability is more obvious.
- Large thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of tungsten alloy is 5 times that of die steel;
- Small thermal expansion coefficient: tungsten thermal expansion coefficient 4~6 10-6/, only 1/2-1/3 of iron and steel;
- Good molding machinability and weldability;
- Compared with lead, tungsten alloy material has environmental protection characteristics, and it is not harmful to human body when using tungsten alloy shielding parts to manufacture radiation detectors;
- Compared with tungsten-nickel-copper alloy, tungsten-nickel-iron alloy has certain ferromagnetism, and its mechanical properties and machining properties are better than that of tungsten-nickel-copper alloy.
Application
Widely used in ray protection, guiding industrial counterweight parts, safety parts and so on.
